Dr. Schofield graduated medical school from the University of Northern Texas. He then had the honor to serve in the U.S. Navy at Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego and at various other Naval Institutions around the world. After his military service, Dr. Schofield completed his ophthalmology residency at North Eastern University of Ohio. Dr. Schofield went on for further training and served as an associate professor and glaucoma fellow at the prestigious University of Southern California Doheny Eye Institute.

Dr. Schofield has been in private practice since 2005. He opened his first location in Beverly Hills. He has since expanded to two other locations, one in Palm Desert and one in Lancaster. 2019 brings him to Santa Monica as well. Dr. Schofield is able to offer patients comprehensive, personable care at his own pace- not rushed in a clinic-type setting. Dr. Schofield prides himself on the personal time he is able to give each and every patient.
